About Us

Sage Fox Medical Consultants opened its doors in 2019 as a multi-disciplinary clinic located and easily accessed in the NW corner of Calgary. Our clinic has since grown to include General Pediatrics, Endocrinology and Pediatric Gastroenterology. Our physicians are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our patients and their families. Our clinic staffs 3 MOAs and has support from diabetic nurse educators and registered dieticians. Some of our physicians are associated with the University of Calgary, welcoming medical students and residents for electives and continuity clinics.

Our Location and Services

We are located in the lower level of a medical office building at 8555 Scurfield Drive NW. Our clinic has free ground level parking for staff and patients. We are within walking distance of the Crowfoot C-train station and we are minutes from the Stoney Trail Ring Road. We have 12 exam rooms, two patient education rooms, a counselling space, kitchen and both shared and quiet workspaces available. Our staff has enjoyed the ability to collaborate in our shared workspaces and to have quiet rooms for telephone and video calls. We are pleased to support local artists by showcasing their artwork in our common spaces.

Daily Operations

Our clinic is open from 830am until 430pm daily from Monday to Friday, we are closed on weekends and Statutory Holidays. Physicians set their schedule, as they see fit, within our operating hours. Our front staff works diligently to confirm every appointment with patients and families which is reflected in a low no-show rate.

We use Telus Practice Solutions EMR, which is intuitive and allows for easy communication between physicians and with our front staff. Some of our physicians choose to use Ocean by CognisantMD for patient engagement with secure messaging and intake forms. Billing is easily completed directly within the EMR itself. Our clinic has completed CPAR/CII which allows for consult letters to be uploaded directly to Alberta Netcare. Notifications of hospitalizations, emergency visits, hospital consults and laboratory values and diagnostic imaging are downloaded directly into the chart.

Referrals

Calgary is a thriving, growing city with much need for general pediatrics and subspecialty care. Referrals are centralized and triaged per each speciality meaning there is rapid access to new referrals for physicians joining the practice. If you are a new subspecialty to our clinic, our office will advertise on your behalf to help you grow your practice.
